Simon Cowell Pictured Riding Bike Without Helmet Despite Recent Accidents-‘I’m A Bit Of A Nutter’
This sighting arrived on the back end of the music mogul already having suffered accidents after having not worn a helmet. This was most notably seen when he fell off his bike in 2020 that had almost left him paralyzed.
And things had gotten so bad at that point as Simon had allegedly broken his back in three places. This was followed up by extensive surgery on his spine, as the doctors had to put a metal rod in him.
While that may have been the case, it appears that Cowell has not learnt any lessons. In fact, he has decided to do the opposite by continuing to take risks.
In his comments, he said: “Not yet, but I will [wear a helmet]. I need to get healthy, and I don’t like walking. I’m out on it literally every single day. I get exercise.”
Those comments are a step back from ones he had made this year. Cowell had suffered another bike accident which left him with a broken arm. And at the time of it, Cowell admitted that he would change his riding policy moving forward.
There was a clear emphasis on safety first, as he revealed that a hemet would become a part of his routine. In some prior comments and the time, Simon remarked: “I’m a bit of a nutter. I’ll definitely wear a helmet next time.”
The fans on social media were very vocal about this. A significant proportion of the fanbase felt that he had nobody to blame but himself if anything untoward happened.
One person wrote: “He believes in his own mortality I guess. Some people never learn.” It is fair to say that Simon will continue to do what he thinks is best regardless of what others may have to say.
