Monty Lopez Opens Up On His Divorce From Sheri Easterling-‘I Can Move Forward’
Monty, for his part, has now managed to move on with his girlfriend Renée Ash. And as part of that process, he revealed that he had gotten divorced from Sheri months ago.
In the process of doing so, he admitted that the process of trying to separate from Sheri had been going on for around a couple of years. And now that it has been done, he is focused on his new life moving forward.
In his comments, he said: “Our divorce is finalised. What I can do from here on out, I can move forward…There’s nothing else that needs to be done.
“We go in front of a judge, I sign it, she signs and then we’re on to the next step.” And yet, things had not been so easy when it came to his new flame Ash.
She had reportedly been upset with suggestions that Monty had “misled” her over the status of his marriage to the point where she was potentially implicated in an affair.
But as they managed to overcome that hurdle, Sheri did something even more radical. She was pictured locking lips with rapper Yung Gravy at the MTV VMAs awards.
And given that there was over a 15-year age gap between the pair, they did turn a few heads. While they are not officially together, this still demonstrates that Monty has managed to move on unlike Sheri.
With that being sad, Lopez is simply enjoying things. His following comments confirmed as much: “So, I’m excited that we’re talking again, I’m excited we’re talking about moving in together.
“I’m excited … to see the next step in this relationship.” Hopefully, Sheri can follow in the same footsteps and settle down with somebody moving forward. We will have to see how this will all play out.
