A Florida doctor was found dead in a ditch near his home after being charged with allegedly raping two sedated customers. The two women—identified as being 51 and 73-years-old—came in for cosmetic work by Dr. Eric Andrew Salata (54), based out of Naples.
Florida Cosmetic Doctor Found Dead in Ditch Over a Week After Being Charged on 2 Counts of Sexual Battery
According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Salata was a veteran of more than 30 years. The 51-year-old victim gave the most detailed account of how the doctor did his dirt. She said that Salata administered the laughing gas and began caressing her privates as the gas took effect.
The victim was aware enough to ask what he was doing, prompting the doctor to stop and administer more gas. Salata allegedly gave her alcohol to knock her out and as she slipped in and out of consciousness, she could see him assaulting her. The 73-year-old victim echoed that she had been assaulted as well.
On November 21, 2022 he was charged with two counts of sexual battery on a physically helpless person, and his bond was set at $100,000. On November 28, it was noticed that his ankle monitor hadn’t updated his location for hours. When authorities when to check on Salata, he was discovered in a ditch with a handgun close by and a gunshot wound to the head.
