On Thursday, 8th December 2022, a court refused to grant bail to a OnlyFans model accused of stabbing her partner to death in a violent attack.
OnlyFans Model Denied Bail Following Claims She Stabbed Boyfriend To Death
The ruling is in relation to the continuing legal proceedings against Courtney Clenney, who is charged with the homicide of her partner Christian Obumseli.
Following a call from Clenney’s legal team for her to be released from imprisonment prior to her trial, despite the grave accusations against her, that request was rejected.
Despite having confessed to the killing previously, Clenney has since entered a plea of not guilty in spite of the substantial amount of proof against her.
Four months after the homicide, Clenney was apprehended at a Hawaii rehabilitation clinic, supposedly due to a mental breakdown.
Clenney had petitioned claiming that the savage murder had been done in self-defense with the use of a kitchen knife. And yet, prior to his incident, text messages from Christian showed that there had been other occasions of violence.
Last year, Obumseli shared a story of Clenney attacking and stabbing him on both legs twice. The following day, Obumseli reported that his girlfriend struck him on the head, resulting in him having a concussion.
And then in January, Obumseli’s injuries were two lacerations to his face, occurring after another reported quarrel. With that being said, things were looking ominous for Courtney.
Attorney Larry Handfield had this to say: “It’s a clear pattern of her being unhinged and out of control. She was a threat and has demonstrated a pattern of violence and clearly, that fateful day, it came to an end.”
The response on social media was very damning. A significant proportion of people demanded that Courtney be held accountable. One person wrote: “I hope they bury Courtney Clenney ass UNDER the jail.”
