An Alabama man died during a crash on Alabama 207 in Lauderdale County. The crash was caused by one biker losing control of his motorcycle: the deceased, 29-year-old Jessie J. Mabe.
Alabama Man Dies in Vehicle Crash Involving Three Bikers When His Own Motorcycle Runs into a Sign Post
The crash occurred at around 9:35 PM when Mabe’s 2007 Suzuki GSX R-600 struck a Honda driven by Hannah Mabe as well as another Honda driven by Adam Russell. His bike went off the roadway and into a sign post. Emergency services pronounced the 29-year-old Rogersville man dead at the scene.
Both Hannah Mabe and Russell were taken to North Alabama Medical Center where they were treated for wounds. This was an incident that seems pretty direct without providing many details such as road conditions—it rained that day—and if the drivers on the motorcycles were driving recklessly.
Highway Patrol troopers are continuing to look into one of many unfortunate yet fatal accidents on Alabama’s highways and byways.
