Russell Crowe, the Academy Award-winning actor from movies such as Gladiator and Beautiful Mind has not been in America for 4 years. Furthermore, he is not even intending to come back in near future.
Russell Crowe is originally from New Zealand. However, he spent the majority of his career in Hollywood. He made a great career there and is very grateful to Hollywood for it. However, this is not a reason enough for him to consider moving to America for good. Furthermore, this is not a reason for him to even visit the country.
Russell Crowe Hasn’t Been To America In Four Years And He Is Not Intending To – ‘I Have Everything I Need Here, In Australia’
The actor has been living in Australia for the past few years, where he owns a large property and a farm. Over the recent years, Russell Crowe is indeed very active. For example, he took part in a television series, The Loudest Voice, where he plays Roger Ailes, the CEO of Fox News.
Russell Crowe seems to have stopped coming to the United States in 2019. As the coronavirus pandemic started, the award-winning actor lost interest in seeking adventure and new business endeavors in the USA.
Looking at this fact aside, it seems like Russell Crowe might even have something against the states. Ever since 2019 he has made numerous trips to different countries. But not the USA. He has been to Thailand, Malta, England, Ireland, and Australia.
However, the situation is such that he doesn’t have anything against the USA. At least that is what he claims. His absence from the country for such a long period is due to the fact he doesn’t feel a need to be there. He has everything he needs in Australia.
“My American friends are like ‘what’s going on?’. I haven’t been back since for a press tour. I’ve been able to wrangle a way to do most of the press sitting here on the phone on the farm.” – Russell Crowe told at the 2Day FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin breakfast Monday show. “I have everything I need here, in Australia, on the farm.”
The actor explained that not only he doesn’t have anything against the USA, but he is looking forward to his next trip there. He previously lived in the states for a considerable amount of time. He even had numerous homes in different cities of the states. Crowe revealed that as soon as a project in the USA appears he will be on the first plane there.
However, for now, he simply doesn’t have a need to come.
