Elle King publicly named Chris Young an “a–hole” after an apparent exchange of words.
Elle King Brands Chris Young An ‘A–hole’ After He Told Her Husband-‘Come Get Your Wife’ During Feud
According to reports, the pair were filming a show by the name of “Barmageddon.” During the course of that process, the two country stars were competing in outrageous bar games against one another.
Reportedly, the atmosphere between Young and King became tense as the latter started to gain an advantage. Young is then said to have turned to her fiancé, Dan Tooker, who was present in the audience, and told him the following: “Go get your wife!”
With that being said, the comments did not go down well. As such, Elle responded in the most brutal of ways by stating how the encounter had influenced her new music. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she shared a video showing the title of her new album.
She could be heard saying the following comments: “The title of this record came because some famous asshole tried to shout Come get your wife.
“And I was like I’m not even married, just because I was kicking his a– in a game. I was like, ‘Ha ha wouldn’t it be fun if I called my record that?’ So I did.”
Much in the same way, those who were around the incident had something to say too. This is despite the fact that the incident has apparently been cut out of the show.
After all, this is what a witness had to say: “Once she started kicking his a– in the bar games and s–t talking like the guys were doing, he couldn’t take it anymore.
“He was seeing red. He called her names and then even yelled over her head to a guy who was with her.” Chris has yet to respond to this which is understandable due to the negative media scrutiny that it would generate, but based on what we have seen so far, the damage has been done.
