At AEW Revolution, MJF would prove his doubters wrong when he would be able to stand up to Bryan Danielson in a Sixty Minute Ironman match and still holds the AEW World Championship. Tonight isn’t about Danielson though, it’s all about MJF – because it’s his birthday. MJF has announced tonight will also be his Re-Bar Mitzvah celebration – making it a very special night indeed.
MJF Went From Man To Iron Man At Revolution
MJF would open the show with this celebration, hitting the ring with four beautiful women and the AEW World Championship. He’d get the crowd against him by saying that he thinks Shawn Michaels is better than Bret Hart, before saying it’s the most important date of the year.
Usually you get a Bar Mitzvah when you go from a boy to a man – but when he tapped out Bryan Danielson to become the Undisputed best professional wrestler in the world.
He went from a Man to Ironman, and it’s time to celebrate – and if you didn’t get involved, you’re anti-semetic! Midway through the celebration, Jungle Boy Jack Perry would hit the ring. Hot off defeating a legend in Christian Cage – he’s due for a title shot.
Before he could speak, Sammy Guevara was out next – who is in the main event tonight for the trios titles. Darby Allin was out next – meaning the Four Pillars of AEW were in the ring with microphones.
Allin, Guevara & Perry all want title shots. Perry last met MJF in 2020 at Double or Nothing with no fans in the arena, with MJF cheating to win.
MJF would go on to be handed the keys to the kingdom, while Perry and the others worked Dark, Elevation, Rampage and more – earning their keep. They grind for their time on TV, while MJF is handed 20+ minutes every week for his hookey bullshit.
The Four Pillars Finally Collide
Perry would say that this show revolves around MJF, who would say he’s a star unlike them. Guevara said MJF kissed ass to get to AEW, while Guevara fought on the indies for years to earn his spot.
When Guevara finally got here, he was supposed to be the bump guy for Jericho, but he overcome the odds to become a three time TNT Champion. He’s not like MJF, he never needed the machine to push him – and he doesn’t need it to become World Champion.
MJF would try to regain some ground, but it was Allin’s turn to speak. Since 2013, Allin has been defying the odds as a pro wrestler – with Buddy Wayne being his trainer.
He was never going to change a single thing about himself to success, and that has led to him being himself every week in AEW. Allin doesn’t want much, he doesn’t whine on social media or TV like MJF does – and he is the best pick to be champion because of it.
MJF would say this is enough – trying to rip into his potential opponents, but his insults didn’t strike deep. He would say he never needed a mentor in AEW unlike the three of them, ignoring his time with Cody Rhodes.
MJF knows they’re the future of wrestling, but he’s the pillar keeping this place standing unlike them. Perry would punch MJF out, before he was shoved off through his cake at ringside – with fans chanting ‘You deserve it!’.
Hangman Page Leads Dark Order’s Original Members Into Battle
When Hangman Page defeated Jon Moxley in a violent Texas Deathmatch at AEW Revolution, he was ready to be done with the Blackpool Combat Club. However, Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli would go too far as they beat down Dark Order members John Silver & Alex Reynolds during a tag team match – and you don’t mess with Page’s friends.
Tonight he gets a chance at revenge – as he teams with two Canadians in Evil Uno & a returning Stu Greyson for a massive trios match.
Uno & Greyson were the first two Dark Order members – and Uno would start fast against Wheeler Yuta. Yuta was able to drive Uno into the corner, where Moxley & Castagnoli would show their chemistry – starting Uno’s isolation from his partners.
Uno was able to weather the storm and tagged Greyson back into the ring, and he’d be quick to take down Moxley with a slingshot DDT on the apron. Castagnoli took a Meteora before the swinging DDT for a near fall.
Yuta held the ropes open as Castagnoli would throw him to the floor, before a three way Spike Piledriver from BCC would land. Greyson was rocked after the piledriver, and the crowd would rally behind Hangman Page on the apron.
Moxley would apply the Texas Cloverleaf, before switching into an STF as Greyson would get near the ropes. Another piledriver would land in the middle of the ring, with Greyson able to kick out.
Page Gets Knocked Silly – Dark Order Gets Overwhelmed
Page would finally get the tag, and he would run through all three opponents in quick fashion. Yuta took a big lariat in the ring, but was able to avoid the powerbomb attempt. Uno got a blind tag before Page hit the Pop Up Powerbomb – and Uno flew off the top rope. Castagnoli would take down Uno with an uppercut, and Moxley was tagged in.
Picking up where they left off at Revolution, Page would nail a lariat before setting up the Buckshot. Yuta would smash Page in the head with the ring bell, taking him out of the mix. Dark Order refused to back down, and Uno hit the Death Rider before the cannonball senton took out Yuta in the corner as Greyson came off the top rope with the 450 Splash.
Fatality would land, and Yuta saved Moxley from being pinned. Yuta would take Uno off the apron before Greyson made the tag, before the Swiss Death Uppercut was followed by a Rear Naked Choke to end the match – Blackpool Combat Club wins. Moxley kept the choke on after the bell, with Uno making the save – only for him to be outnumbered.
Silver & Reynolds made the save, but BCC won the day. What is next for Dark Order? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
