Jana Kramer stated that if she and Mike Caussin had not divorced, she believes her ex-spouse would have gone on cheating on her in perpetuity.
Jana Kramer Was Convinced Her Ex Mike Caussin Would Have Continued Cheating If She Didn’t Divorce
On Monday, 20th March 2023, Kramer stated that she doesn’t subscribe to the idea that someone who has cheated in the past will always cheat in the future.
Therefore, she believes that Mike is capable of remaining faithful in his next committed relationship. With that being said, Jana made it clear in no uncertain terms that she had no regrets about walking away.
In her comments, she said: “For me, it’s situational, but also, like, I don’t ever want to go back to that feeling. I’d rather just be like, ‘This is not working out for me.
“I know what it feels like to cheat on someone, and I know what it feels like to be cheated on.” In 2015, the couple got married, but the following year they separated for a period of one year due her ex-husband’s infidelity.
It became clear that Mike had a sex addiction, something which he was working on getting help for. The couple have two children together, a daughter named Jolie who is seven years old and a four-year-old son named Jace.
And yet, the vocalist had revealed that Caussin had been unfaithful to her just a month after they started dating. Despite this, she tried to give him another chance, as he had repeatedly made promises of doing better.
In her comments at the time, she remarked: “He’d be like ‘When are you going to stop. When are you going to finally forgive me? When are you going to stop talking about this?’
“I’d be like ‘Well, it happened two weeks ago. Give me a minute.’ And then, I’m like, ‘Well, now, yeah, I have to forgive him now.” The social media response was damning.
Large numbers of people made it clear that Jana deserved no sympathy since she had been naive for believing that Mike would ever change as his track record had shown he was not trustworthy.
One person wrote: “So why did Jana Kramer give her ex 12 chances 13 times cheated on wtf why don’t these people keep their personal s**t personal.”
