Jon Moxley just went to war with El Desperado in Japan, spilling blood all over Korakuen Hall – but still found the time to send a message to AEW.

Set to meet the Kenny Omega led faction in Blood & Guts soon, Moxley is ready to keep a violent edge going until he leaves the double ring cage. However tonight, he’s talking about his friend and new NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, Eddie Kingston.

Jon Moxley Thinks Eddie Kingston Could Still Be An All-Time Great, Matt Hardy Hates His New Tag Team Partner

When Moxley met Eddie Kingston in 2009 – they instantly became friends. They got everything they wanted from the industry, but Kingston remains bitter. Kingston complains that younger wrestlers have no respect – while Moxley tries to build the next generation.

If Kingston put his ego on the shelf, he could be an all time great – but Moxley thinks that will never happen if things continue as they are.

Should Kingston make the right choices, especially after his war with KENTA, he could be put back on the right path. Moxley would end by asking Kingston to pick up the phone, and make the right choice.

Following this promo, we would get an announcement of another team in the AEW Blind Draw Tag Team Championship Tournament.

Matt Hardy was the first name drawn, and the second would be Jeff. However, not Jeff Hardy – but Jeff Jarrett. Hardy would storm off in a rage, saying he hates Jarrett – though this is the most decorated team in the tournament instantly.

Chris Jericho Knows It’s Time For A Change

Chris Jericho is on a rare cold streak right now. He’s lost big match after big match, dropping two in a row to Sting & Darby Allin recently.

The former AEW World Champion is even losing the grip he has on the talent Sammy Guevara as a result of these losses. Tonight, we will hear from the eight time World Champion – as we get an idea of what is going through the mind of Jericho as we enter the build to All In.

Jericho would get a hero’s welcome from the Canadian crowd. He’s in a bittersweet mood, as over the last few months – very little has gone according to plans.

Jericho thinks it’s time to make a couple changes, to re-evaluate his career. Alberta is the perfect place for him to do this, being the place where he started his career under the training of the Hart Family.

Alberta is crucial to his career, and Jericho would revisit the towns where he became Chris Jericho. He would remember the passion he had, and remembered that professional wrestling is still his biggest love.

Jericho is ready to become the best version of himself. Before he could reveal his plans, a droning song would hit – drowning out the boos as Don Callis would march to the ring.

Callis would get drowned out as he tried to speak, and said that six years ago today – he made the call to Jericho. It was about a match with Kenny Omega in the Tokyo Dome, a match that led to the creation of AEW. Without that match, Jericho would not be at the apex of the industry – without the great mind of Don Callis.

Will Jericho Join Forces With Don Callis?

Jericho would say that Callis wouldn’t be in professional wrestling if it wasn’t for him eight years ago. He’s the one that pulled Callis back into wrestling, and without Jericho – he wouldn’t be here. Callis would agree that when him and Jericho unite, history is made.

After being stabbed in the back by Omega – Callis would start a new family. He needs people he trusts, and when he thinks about trust, he thinks about Chris Jericho.

If Jericho is ready to change history one more time, he just needs to answer one question. Will he join the Don Callis family?

Jericho would ensure he heard things properly, because he doesn’t join factions – he creates them. For anyone else, it would be a no, but for Callis – it’s a maybe.

He needs time to think about this, as it’s a tempting offer. It would certainly be a change, and being alongside someone like Konosuke Takeshita could be what Jericho needs.

Will Jericho accept this offer? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
