AEW’s Young Bucks Talk Cash Wheeler Arrest, Hope To Make Third Match With FTR The Best Yet

We are quickly closing in on the biggest show in the history of All Elite Wrestling, and simply one of the biggest of all time. AEW All In marks their debut in the UK, and sees the company packing over 80,000 fans into the iconic Wembley Stadium.

While some matches on the card have had rushed builds, one that stands out is the third match between The Young Bucks & FTR. This feud has been brewing for years, and was nearly derailed before the bell rang.

Young Bucks & FTR Have A Task At End, And Plan On Delivering

Last week, it was reported that FTR member Cash Wheeler was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm. He had turned himself in and cooperated with the police in the matter. Due to this and not having a previous record – Wheeler is able to continue with any planned matches.

During an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, The Young Bucks were asked about this arrest – and Matt Jackson had the following to say when asked for a comment.

“Any time distractions happen beyond your control, it’s a bit frustrating. But we have a task at hand, and we plan on delivering.”

Tony Khan has made it clear that AEW is monitoring this situation closely, and sees it as inconclusive at this time.

Making This Their Best Match Yet

Going on to speak about their upcoming match and if they feel pressure to top their first two matches, Matt Jackson had the following to say.

“I love a challenge I’m most excited for the opportunity to feel what it’s like to perform at an event of such magnitude. It might be the culmination of everything we’ve ever worked for, and how I complete every future story I tell to my future grandkids about where my career climaxed.”

Meanwhile, Nick Jackson feels this is the best chance yet – as everyone will be 100% and the amount of time offered with a PPV – something Young Bucks & FTR haven’t had before this match. Nick shared the following.

“Not many people know this, but I had a really bad case of Covid a month or two before that first match, and I had trouble breathing for a long time. Cardio-wise, it took me a while to get healthy, so that match was probably the hardest match I ever had to get through. The second match I felt a lot healthier, but it was on TV so we didn’t get a lot of time. What excites me most is having that extra time and having a beat to be able to tell the best story that we possibly can.”

Will this be the best match of All In? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
