The second match of the November 16, 2019, Pro Wrestling Revolution (PWR) event in San Francisco, California saw one of the local favorites — Ultimo Panda defend the PWR Openweight Championship against three contenders. Diablo Azteca, Adrian Quest, and the visiting Hijo de LA Park, who routinely shows up where his dad is booked in the United States; challenged the hometown favorite Panda for the title.
Border Patrol member, Sparky Ballard was the referee and went through his routine of slow counts and agitating the Technico (Face) wrestlers. The match got off to a fast start with Adrian Quest looking good in several sequences.
Hijo de LA Park received a good reaction from the live audience and had several solid moments. There were a couple of odd moments in the match, but the crowds’ love for Ultimo Panda dampened each of them.
The mistakes took away from the overall feel of the match; however, it’s difficult to focus on them with how energetic the crowd was throughout. Ultimo Panda would eventually pin Azteca to routine the PWR Openweight Championship.
The fun feel of Panda before a ladder match with Border Patrol member Colt Stevens allowed the crowd to experience drastically different styles in back to back matches.
The entire show can be seen on FITE.
