AEW Dark rolls on. Kilynn King is out here now, making her debut. I can’t say ‘Kilynn’ is a name I’ve ever heard before but it’s neat. She was evidently trained in part by Billy Gunn and the Dudley Boyz. They talk up how Billy Gunn in particular very highly of her and Taz at one point makes mention of her being a crazy among crazies. She comes out to face off with the Superbad Penelope Ford making her second appearance on tonight’s episode. Kip Sabian is of course at ringside alongside her.
Kilynn King vs. Penelope Ford
Lock-up, Kilynn controls the arm with a wrist lock. She’s noticeably much taller than Ford. They grapple for supremacy exchanging wristlocks, Ford gets a waistlock. Standing switch, Ford with a back elbow, hits the ropes but King does as well – Ford turns around and gets ran through with a shoulder tackle! King hooks for a suplex and here’s the big delayed vertical suplex. This is quickly becoming like the standard move of AEW, there are so many people here who love doing that. She plants Ford, covers for a 2 count. She hits the ropes, Kip trips her up! She stops to yell at him, Ford gets her head between the ropes and trash talks her before yanking her throat-first into the top rope!
She stomps her into the corner, drapes her across the middle rope for a choke and makes out with Kip Sabian, even flexing as she does both of these things! Quite the multi-tasker. Snap suplex for a 2 count. Ford with some roundhouse kicks to the chest, chokes her against the turnbuckle. King fighting back with a body shot but Penelope cuts that off quick, sledging blows to the back. Grinds the boot into the back of King’s head, straight-up throttles her and chokes her against the corner until she has to break! King fights back, elbow, missile dropkick! Charges, Ford evades and sends her into the corner for the Handspring Back Elbow! Then Ford comes off the ropes for the Handspring Cutter and that is that!

Afterwards Kip comes into the ring and makes sure to put Penelope’s engagement ring back on her finger, having taken it off just before the match. They share multiple kisses during their celebration and make their way out.
