There have been some rumours of Vince McMahon not being happy with Aleister Black’s gimmick. With him thinking it’s too one dimensional and can’t be developed into anything. This, after his success in NXT with him using that gimmick and name through his run in NXT.
Aleister Black has recently been written off Raw and getting the same treatment as Rey Mysterio. Getting his head pushed into the corner of the ring stairs. The known signature move of the “Monday Night Messiah” by the looks of things.
The return of Tom Budgen.
Reported by Tom Colohue of SportsKeeda, the boss thought something was missing from Alister Black. We have no clue what this could be but the same was said about Cesaro a while back. It feels like a more athletic star with less focus on talking is a big no-no for Vince.
It has also been speculated that he could return to his real name; Tom Budgen. Even though he didn’t actually wrestle under this name. In the Indies, he wrestled under the name Tommy End but he might be keeping this name away from WWE so he could perhaps return to it, one day.
Or the return to NXT?
There is another place in WWE which Aleister Black fits the mould perfectly, he’s one of the stars that set the mould! This is obviously NXT, where he was in the main event more than a few times.
Now that there’s a lot of new wrestlers in NXT. It would be a great time for him to rejoin the NXT roster. It should also be mentioned that there has even been a new belt since Aleister Black left. This adds a lot of possibilities for him in NXT and it could be better for him.
