The first episode of SmackDown since the Hell in a Cell PPV takes place tonight, and there is set to be a number of ongoing storylines that fans will have to look out for. There are already a number of segments revealed for the show tonight, but what should fans expect to see during the show on Friday night?
WWE News: Roman Reigns And Jey Uso Segment Announced
It has already been revealed on social media that there will be a segment taking place tonight involving Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. The two collided in one of the best matches of the year in WWE, as Reigns used Jey’s brother to force Uso to utter the words ‘I Quit’.
It was a hard hitting match, but once again it showed that Reigns was willing to go huge lengths in order to hold onto his title.
It has been revealed that the fallout from the match will take place this evening, as Reigns is set to reveal the consequences that he has teased for weeks. But, what could these consequences be for Uso? Could we see Jey forced to align with Reigns?
WWE News: Bayley Set To Appear After Losing Championship
It has also been revealed that Bayley will appear on SmackDown tonight, as she will address losing her championship at Hell in a Cell.
Bayley was the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, but lost that title to Sasha Banks in the cell on Sunday night. It was a hard hitting match between the two women, and there will likely be scars on full display tonight.
However, could we see Bayley immediately demand a rematch for the championship during tonight’s episode of SmackDown? And, what excuses could she have for the defeat that she suffered at the hands of Banks?
WWE News: Survivor Series Team Formed
There is also set to be some qualifying matches for the upcoming Survivor Series PPV taking place during the show tonight. Team Raw has already begun to take shape, and the first members of the SmackDown team will likely be decided tonight in elimination matches.
None of these matches have been advertised at present, but we could see Daniel Bryan in action for the second week running, while it will also be interesting to see whether we move a step closer to the dream tag team of Bryan and Kevin Owens.
