Two fanbases collided when Sasha Banks was shown to be part of the Mandalorian cast. There were a lot of rumours following who she would be playing and when she would make her appearance. She has now made her appearance in episode 3 of season 2.
A great episode that is worth the watch. There are some spoilers ahead for the latest episode. In the latest episode, Mandalorian got the frog woman to her husband landing on the fishing planet in search of more of his kind.
Who was she in Mandalorians?
It was revealed after Bo-Katan Kryze’s team helped Mando and Baby Yoda. She is actually just one member of Bo- Katan’s squad and in the credits doesn’t have a name. She does have some time on screen like eating a small octopus and fighting alongside the other Mandalorians but that is sadly it for the people who were hoping she’d have a bigger role.
The whole episode did feel like it was a quick episode so there was no surprise that her role in the episode felt short.
Was it worth the wait?
There were a lot of rumours of who she was playing in the episode. With rumours pointing to her playing as Sabine Wren or even Ahsoka Tano. These two being massive characters in the Star Wars Universe and to some fan favorites from the Star Wars Clone Wars and Rebels Animated shows. It was revealed that she was an unnamed Mandalorian just part of the group that helps Mando, run by Bo-Katan Kryze.
It is kind of disappointing to fans that she wasn’t someone of more importance but it is still good to see someone from WWE in a big show like Mandalorians and maybe we could see her in a more dominant role later on maybe in this or a different show.
