After losing to Kenny Omega at Full Gear, Hangman Page has hit rock bottom once again. Dark Order is looking to get him on their side once again, and John Silver is proof they bring people up in the ranks. However, Hangman Page probably wants none of that, and will face John Silver tonight on AEW Dynamite, to try and get back on the horse.
John Silver Shows His Power
Despite Hangman Page being able to stare over the head of John Silver, don’t think Page has a complete advantage. Page would drop him with a shoulder tackle, and then pluck Silver out of the air for a bodyslam. Silver came back with an armdrag and a dropkick, before flexing on Page.
Page would just hit a rolling forearm, before settling into a slow pace with some hard knife edge chops. Silver came back with some of his own, before being sent flying with a back body drop. Page would counter a German Suplex attempt with a back elbow, and Silver slapped Page on the ass. Silver was just having a good time, before being sent to the apron and nearly hit with the springboard lariat.
Page was cut off with a kick, and Silver came off the top rope with a crossbody. Silver would cut Page down and send off some of those hard mid-kicks, and Silver has very strong legs. Page would fire up as Silver was in control, and fire back some heavy shots.
Hangman Page Mounts The Comeback
Page would be hit with a Snap German Suplex, being dumped onto his head. Silver would be dropped with a springboard lariat to the outside, before dodging the plancha to the outside. Page would slip into the ring, and try again, successful this time.
Silver was sent back into the ring, and nailed with a sliding lariat, Page getting a two count. Page wanted a powerbomb, but Silver fought out and went for another crossbody. He’d be caught hit with the Fallaway Slam and running Shooting Star Press. The Buckshot Lariat would be launched, and Silver got a hurricanrana.
Silver wouldn’t get the pin, but he’d unleash a combo of offense ending in a brainbuster. That would get him in full control, and throw more mid-kicks. Page absorbed the blows, and rose up. He’d counter a lariat into a rollup, but be rolled through into a knee to the face. They would throw lariats, and Page hit the hardest there. A sitout powerbomb from Page got a two count, set up the Buckshot and that was it.
Dark Order Comes With An Offer
After the match, The Dark Order would hit the ring and Page was ready for a fight. However, Evil Uno would talk him down and tell Page they come in peace. They regret their past actions to Page, the beatdowns, and they know he has regrets as well. It’s been a rough year mentally for Hangman Page, especially the last few months. He no longer has a support system… but that can change.
Page has a lot on his mind and not many people to rely on, but Dark Order is here for him. He knows where to find them. Is Hangman Page going to join The Dark Order? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
