WWE Smackdown Results returned as Dominik and Rey Mysterio came out and Corbin attacked them from behind and threw Rey off the stage to the floor, then gave Dominik a solid kick before he headed to the ring.
Dominik Mysterio w/ Rey Mysterio vs. King Corbin
The match started with Corbin charging in but Dominik hit a toe drag takedown and sent Corbin face first into the turnbuckle.
Corbin recovered and charged again, and when Dominik sidestepped him he slid under the ropes and rounded the ring post to slid in where he was met with a dropkick.
Corbin then threw Dominik through the ropes, but Dominik hopped back on the apron and hit a shoulder and a sunset flip but Corbin rolled through it.
Dominik then hit a dropkick for a pin attempt, and Corbin grabbed Dominik’s leg after he kicked out and slammed him to the mat, then pounded away.
After another right, Corbin dragged Dominik to the ropes and choked him out on the second rope, then threw him into the opposite corner and hit a splash for a near pinfall.
Corbin hammered away with elbows on Dominik’s chest, and locked in a half nelson type of hold.
After hitting an elbow, Corbin mocked him by asking if Rey’s been training him or not, then planted a knee in Dominik’s jaw while pulling on his arm.
Dominik hit a few shots to Corbin’s midsection and then pulled the top rope down to send Corbin to the floor and followed it with a crossbody off the top rope as Rey limped back out.
Heel away
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with Dominik sitting on the top rope and fighting Corbin off and then Dominik went for another crossbody.
Corbin caught him and powered him up for a suplex, but Dominik hit several knees to Corbin’s head to break the hold, then hit a neckbreaker and a standing moonsault for a pin attempt.
Corbin caught Dominik by the throat, but Dominik slipped out of a chokeslam attack and rolled him up for a pin attempt.
Dominik then tripped him into the ropes and went for a 619, but Corbin caught him and hit a Deep Six for a near pinfall.
Corbin threw Dominik into the corner but missed an elbow, and Dominik dragged Corbin over the top rope with a leg scissors.
Dominik then hit a dive through the ropes as Rey disappeared under the ring.
Rey came out as Corbin tried to climb in and held onto Corbin’s foot.
Dominik hit a 619 and a splash for the win.
So, Dominik’s not capable of winning on his own and the Mysterios continue using heel tactics to beat Corbin? WWE Smackdown Results aren’t sure if this means an upcoming turn or what.
