Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re going to have a fun night with Bobby Lashley challenging the Miz for the WWE Championship and Drew McIntyre roaming around.
And will Charlotte Flair and Asuka continue to misfire as a team and build for a possible match at WrestleMania?
Plenty of action to come and we can’t wait. WWE Raw Live Results are going to use this time to grab some snacks before settling in for the 8 p.m. EST showtime
Segment 1
The Miz tried to talk Drew McIntyre into helping him with Lashley and McIntyre refused.
MVP told Miz his and Lashley’s match begins at 9 p.m., and then Sheamus came out and he and McIntyre got into as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre
This match was every bit as physical as we expected, and Sheamus sent McIntyre to the floor with a Brogue Kick as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
The action continued as McIntyre suplexed Sheamus onto the announce desk twice, then hit a superplex for a near pinfall as we headed to commercial.
Segment 4
After McIntyre hitting a White Noise off the second rope and Sheamus hitting a Alabama Slam, McIntyre countered a Brogue kick with a Claymore for the win.
This was a pay-per-view caliber match and should easily be the match of the night. The bar’s been set high for the rest of the night.
Segment 5
Naomi w/Lana vs. Nia Jax w/Shayna Baszler
Naomi put up a fight, but Jax hit a powerbomb/chokeslam for the win.
Segment 6
WWE Championship – The Miz (c) w/John Morrison vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
The match was postponed until 10 p.m. due to cramps and will defend his title even if Adam Pearce has to carry him to the ring.
Seriously. This is just… yeah.
Segment 7
An irate Braun Strowman came out and said he has a tag match but doesn’t know who his partner will be.
Shane McMahon and Adam Pearce came out, and Shane said he made the match and Strowman’s partner is Pearce and they’ll challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
Um… okay.
Segment 8
Raw Tag Team Championship – The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) (c) vs. Braun Strowman and Adam Pearce
Strowman dominated the match, but Shane made him tag in Pearce and Benjamin rolled him up for the win.
Strowman then screamed at Shane that he’s the puppet master and he’s going to tear the place down.
Shane looked confused and perplexed, but could Strowman be right?
Segment 9
Elias w/Jaxson Ryker vs. Damian Priest w/Bad Bunny
This started out with Priest reversing a couple of armbars before hitting Elias with an elbow, spinning heel kick, and then a clothesline to send Elias to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was a really good match as we got to see Priest in trouble for the first time since joining the main roster.
Priest ended it with a Hit the Lights for the win.
Segment 11
Randy Orton said Alexa Bliss should move on with her life before he does to her what he did to the Fiend.
She appeared on a screen with a jack in the box, and then an image of Orton appeared and in a demonic voice told him he will soon pay for all the evil he’s done.
Orton then choked and feel to the ground as his twin laughed maniacally.
WWE Championship Second Attempt – The Miz (c) w/John Morrison vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
As soon as the bell rang, Miz slipped out of the ring, grabbed hit title and ran to the back to lose by count out. He’s still WWE Champion.
Whelp, good thing we expected something along these lines.
Segment 12
Charlotte Flair said she’d love to challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, but she can’t because she’ injured after Baszler kicked one of her teeth out last week.
A back and forth followed between Flair and Nia Jax and Baszler before the pair jumped her and Jax his a leg drop as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax
This was a pretty good match until Baszler looked like she let Flair out of the Coquina Cluth so Flair could hit Natural Selection for the win.
Shane told Pearce to tell Lashley that if the Miz doesn’t show up to defend his title in 20 minutes, he’ll strip him and give the title to Lashley.
We all know the Miz will find some way to get out of this.
Segment 14
Retribution (Mace, T-Bar, Slapjack) w/Mustafa Ali and Reckoning vs. Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik)
Aside from each getting a chance in the ring, this was a quick match Metalik won after hitting a elbow drop from Dorado’s shoulders on Slapjack.
Ali then challenged Riddle afterwards to show the others how it’s done.
Segment 15
Riddle vs. Mustafa Ali w/Retribution
This was another quick one that Ali won after Retribution distracted the referee and Riddle for him to his a type of double knee slam off the middle rope.
Segment 16
WWE Championship Third Strike – The Miz (c) w/John Morrison vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
Shane McMahon informed the Miz it was a lumberjack match, and despite the Miz’s best efforts to get the lumberjacks on his side, he was dominated and submitted to the Hurt Lock.
May the reign of the All Mighty Bobby Lashley be as awesome as he deserves.
The ending was great and we’re thankful Lashley’s the WWE Champion finally, but aside from this and the McIntyre/Sheamus match it was rough at best.
