Since then, the belt has been featured on the vlog every week and also had some of Sammy’s Vlog stickers on the belt. In that time, Sammy has defended his belt against his mum. On this week’s vlog, he defended the belt up against his Girlfriend.
Where they turn to throw a ball into a bag in the corner of their home, it looks more fun than it sounds. After five rounds, they went into a round of sudden death. Sammy lost the BTE belt to his Girlfriend, making us think; what is next for the BTE champion?
What next for the BTE Belt?
It looks like the belt could have an automatic rematch clause to go up against Sammy next week’s vlog on Tuesday. This would make a lot of sense, or it could go maybe in a funnier direction going against Kris Statlander or John Silver.
Making it feel like both blogs are two sides of a coin, making it feel very enjoyable. It would make sense that Sammy kept defending it against his family.
No Sammy in the AEW arena
If you have a good eye, you may have noticed that Sammy did not actually appear in the AEW arena but only in his home. This does continue the story that he isn’t there at the moment due to walking out on the Inner Circle. It is very likely that he is behind the camera in all the other segments. But in the AEW story, he hasn’t been seen there since leaving.
This made sense that he would only defend the BTE belt out of the building. It is great seeing the comedy behind this belt, making it feel like a better way to do it than WWE’s 24/7 belt.
