With WWE Fastlane finished, WWE Raw Preview is looking forward to tonight’s show as we officially start the final stretch on the Road to WrestleMania.
There’s a lot to unpack after last night, but the biggest news is the return of the Fiend (Uber Fiend?) as he helped Alexa Bliss defeat Randy Orton.
They’ll continue the feud tonight with Orton and the Fiend building to a final confrontation at WrestleMania in what should be an awesome end to the feud.
This has been eerily similar to the Undertaker’s return after Kane burned him twenty plus odd years ago, and we expect nothing but the grandest of conclusions on the grandest stage of them all.
While it’ll most likely be a cinematic match, with fans in attendance we’d prefer to see something along the line of a Hell in a Cell to let both of them dish out the punishment to end the feud properly.
What will we see? Stay tuned and we’ll hopefully find out.
Lashley will attack McIntyre
After giving us what should’ve been WrestleMania’s main event last night when Drew McIntyre defeated Sheamus, he’ll begin the march to reclaim the WWE Championship.
While a majority of fans, including us, feel McIntyre shouldn’t have lost his championship at all this year and he should be defending against Sheamus, we’re excited for Bobby Lashley.
While Lashley and McIntyre had great matches previously, we expect their WrestleMania match to be epic.
Of course, it’ll officially kick off tonight when Lashley attacks McIntyre backstage.
We doubt McIntyre will have a match after last night’s appearance, so it makes sense for Lashley to attack him backstage and leave him beaten to ignite a furious response from McIntyre next week.
Rhea Ripley debuts
This is another moment many of us have been waiting for and the WWE has spared no expense in promoting her arrival for the last few weeks.
Last week, it was announced by various sites that Ripley will debut tonight and it makes sense as it’ll help her build to make her in ring debut at WrestleMania.
At least, we hope that’s the plan since she is a special talent and deserves to come out and make a huge impact on the grandest stage.
While it’s natural to think she’ll go after Shayna Baszler, we think it’s more likely she’ll make a splash by going after Charlotte Flair and rekindle their feud from when Flair appeared on NXT.
With Baszler and Asuka feuding, this pairing would be the logical step and it’d help build for a possible main roster feud between Baszler and Ripley.
We’re still sure that it’ll be Flair and Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, so Ripley and Baszler would be a fun mid card match many of us would love to see.
What’s your take on our picks for tonight and are there any others you prefer to see? Let WWE Raw Preview know in the comments below.
