WWE Smackdown Results returned as the Alpha Academy was in the ring and Chand Gable said he’s unleashed Otis’ inner alpha and that Alpha Academy is peaking at the right time.

He added he’ll outshine their partners, the Dirty Dawgs, tonight, and when they win the Smackdown Tag Team Championship next week they’ll do it for the academy.

Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable) and Dirty Dawgs (Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler) vs. Dominik and Rey Mysterio and Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford)

Ziggler started it off by hitting Dominik with a kick and then raking his eyes with his boot laces.

Ziggler threw him into a corner and then ran into a boot, then Dominik hit a DDT for a near pinfall.

Roode came in without being tagged and Rey hit a leg scissors and sent him to the floor, then Dawkins held the rope down for Gable and Otis to head to the floor when they ran in.

Dominik threw Ziggler out of the other side of the ring with Roode and Rey hit a Sitton on Roode and Dominik hit Ziggler with a crossbody over the top rope.

Ford then hit Alpha Academy with a dive over the top rope as we headed to commercial.

    Dawkins gets rolling

Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Rey rolled out of a reverse suplex by Ziggler and tagged in Dawkins, who hit a series of clotheslines on Ziggler.

Dawkins hit a corkscrew elbow off the ropes, then knocked Roode and Alpha Academy off the apron before hitting a belly to belly suplex.

Gable ran in and Dawkins hit a belly to belly suplex, and Roode pulled Ziggler away from a corkscrew clothesline in the corner and received a right by Dawkins for his trouble.

Otis clubbed Dawkins when he came to their side and then tagged in. Otis stomped Dawkins and then hit an axhandle off the ropes for a pin attempt.

Otis threw Dawkins into the corner and hit an elbow drop and then a clubbing blow before tagging Roode in.

Roode locked in a front face lock and then a suplex for a pin attempt.

Ziggler tagged in and raked Dawkins’ eyes with his boot, then locked in a front face lock and tagged in Otis.

Otis hit a snapmare and locked in a neck twist.

Dawkins hit a jawbreaker and then a right before both men hit each other with a clothesline off the ropes.

Gable and Ford tagged in and Ford hit a clothesline and back body drop on Roode when he ran in. Ford then dropkicked Ziggler off the apron.

For threw Gable onto the apron, then flipped him back into the ring before hitting a hit toss suplex type of move and a standing moonsault for a near pinfall that Ziggler broke up.

    Bulldozer away

Rey came in and Ziggler caught him with a kick, but Rey slipped out of a hold and hit a drop kick from behind then went for the 619, but Roode tripped him and pulled him to the floor.

Rey reversed Roode’s whip and sent Roode into the barricade while Dominik pulled Ziggler to the floor with a leg scissors.

With the ring cleared out, Ford rolled up Gable for a near pinfall, then hit a step up kick and went for a From the Heavens but Gable rolled out of the way and Ford landed on his feet.

Gable rolled him up into a German Suplex as Otis tagged in and held Ford for Otis to hit a Flying Bulldozer off the middle rope for the win.

WWE Smackdown Results are stoked to see what the Alpha Academy can do. Otis reminds us of a young King Kong Bundy with his new attitude.
