Just as WWE cut ten names from the main roster, as well as likely some from the WWE Performance Center itself, they bring in more names to see who can be a star. Every few months we see a new batch of indie talents and athletic standouts signed, and it’s time to unpack the latest group. Viewers of NXT are already familiar with Sarray following her instant debut against Zoey Stark, but what about the rest of the signings? Let’s look into the notable names. Those include Hideki Suzuki, Matt Farrelly and Stephanie De Landre.

Hideki Suzuki Signs On As A Trainer, But Fans Hope For Some In-Ring Action

First up is another Japanese talent like Sarray. 41 years old, Hideki Suzuki is a standout from companies like Big Japan Pro Wrestling, Wrestle-1, and Zero1. His battles with men like Go Shiozaki, Timothy Thatcher, Daisuke Sekimoto and more show his incredible skills. Suzuki was trained by Billy Robinson, and now he’s in NXT to pass on that knowledge.

According to the announcement from WWE, he is joining the coaching staff at the WWE PC, but a rematch with Timothy Thatcher or clash with WALTER have fans excited at the potential of him entering the ring. We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, students at the PC are going to up their catch wrestling skills.

Matt Farrelly Will Be Recognized By Fans Of Survivor

Next up is Matt Farrelly, who was actually on the Australian version of Survivor in 2019. He’s been wrestling on the indies since 2017, and at 6’3 he’s the type to get attention from WWE for sure. Having worked at least 150+ matches, he’s not exactly a rookie, but could use some work before he’s TV ready. Farrelly could be a major star, and considering he’s a former history teacher, we can expect him to be well spoken.

Stephanie De Landre Is An Indie Standout From Australia

Much like Farrelly, Stephanie De Landre is another Austrailian wrestler who WWE has signed. They were both trained by Madison Eagles and started out in 2017, and their paths have crossed many times. She will be stepping into a very competitive women’s division, but at 5’11, her height could help her stand out. Her name is one that has brought a lot of excitement from those more familiar with her work, so it will be interesting to see if she meets the hype.

Filling out this batch is Sanjana Georgia from India, who has a 5-1 MMA record & Jennifer Infelsias is a champion powerlifter from Mexico. This is a promising class, and could help shape the global future of NXT. Who are you most excited for? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
