WWE Raw Results returned and the match started fast as McIntyre went for a Claymore and missed and Lashley went for a Hurt Lock, but settled with taking him down for a pin attempt.
Lashley ground down on a side headlock, and McIntyre picked him up and put him on the apron, and Lashley hung him up when they broke.
Lashley hit a spear in the corner and a neckbreaker, then he chocked out McIntyre on the middle rope.
Lashley hammered on McIntyre in the corner, and then put an end to McIntyre’s reversal by beating him down.
Lashley ran into a big boot and headed to the floor and McIntyre headed out as well and his a belly to belly as we headed to commercial.

McIntyre closes in on the win
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring with McIntyre hammering on Lashley in a corner.
Lashley shoved him off the top rope and hit a flatliner for a pin attempt, and then locked in a rear chin lock.
McIntyre fought to get free, and then hit a suplex after blocking Lashley’s attempt. Lashley then caught McIntyre’s charge with a boot and ground him into the bottom turnbuckle.
Lashley sent McIntyre to the floor and followed him out and slammed his head into the ring apron, then hung him up on the top rope again.
Lashley then ran him into the ring post and rolled McIntyre into the ring and readied to finish the match.
McIntyre sidestepped Lashley’s charge and sent him into the corner to buy some time.
The two exchanged blows on their knees and feet, and McIntyre hit a pair of belly to belly suplexes, followed by a neckbreaker and a kip up.
Lashley countered a Future Shock DDT and ate a Glasgow Kiss. McIntyre hit a spinebuster for a near pinfall.
Lashley countered a Claymore with a crossbody and went for the Hurt Lock, but McIntyre wouldn’t let him and McIntyre hit a Claymore.

Strowman came out and attacked McIntyre from behind and hit a Running Powerslam.
Strowman helped Lashley to his feet and Lashley embraced him. Strowman grabbed Lashley and hit a powerslam on him, then another one on McIntyre.
MVP tried to talk Strowman down, but Strowman drove Lashley through the barricade with a powerslam.
Strowman headed into the ring and grabbed McIntyre for a third powerslam after declaring his allegiance is with no one.
This was a cool ending to the show even if it was what we expected to happen. It was also nice the avoided the exact same ending as last week, though it was close.
This did a great job of setting Strowman up as a threat to both men at Backlash, and it should be a must see match.
