After being released from the WWE in November 2020 during the period where the WWE banned their talent from taking part in third party platforms like Twitch, Zelina Vega may be making a return.
Her release also sparked a debate about whether professional wrestlers should unionize or not, and it’s a debate that made it to all of the pod casts and wrestlers and fans voiced their opinions both ways.
Now, it appears Zelina Vega is returning to the WWE as she was reportedly spotted in the WWE Performance Center on April 13 and taking part of a recording session, according to Sportskeeda (https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/rumor-zelina-vega-set-return-wwe-details-revealed-reports).
Honestly though, if the plan is to bring Zelina Vega back in to WWE then I suspect a lot of people will be very happy.

Starting fresh
Vega is a good talent in the ring and awesome on the mic, but things have changed since she left.
At the time, she had a falling out with Andrade and Angel Garza. Since then, Andrade was released and Angel Garza had been off TV more than not.
But the last couple of weeks, Garza has appeared with more of an aggressive edge so could Vega return to manage him again?
It’s a possibility, but we’d like to think Zelina Vega will be allowed to compete more in the women’s division and help elevate it even more.
She’s a great storyteller in the ring and has an impressive move set that helps set her apart from the rest of the division.
More balance
For months, we’ve only gotten to see a small portion of the women’s division and then generally in small doses.
With the push behind Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley, now would be the perfect time to add fresh blood into the mix and really stir things up.
As to which brand she could appear on, we have a feeling she’s going to stay in NXT for a while to train and possibly prove herself all over.
We expect it to be a lengthy road before she makes it back to the main roster, if that’s her goal. To be fair, she should be fast tracked and join Smackdown to be with her husband, Aleister Black.
She could even team with him similar to Karrion Kross and Scarlett. If they go this route, it could also lead to a potential rivalry between her and Black and Kross and Scarlett either in NXT of the main roster.
This could be a big signing for the WWE for various reasons, but then it could also just be a short contract for a few months to see how things work. Time will tell.
