Karrion Kross is now a two time NXT Champion, after dethroning Finn Balor at NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver. Since then, he’s been called out by Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole, and other top names. Next week, he meets Austin Theory one on one after Theory interrupted Scarlett during a sit down chat with Regal, but this week, he’s live in the ring to address these potential challengers.
Kyle O’Reilly Isn’t Scared Of Karrion Kross
After the usual awe-inspiring entrance from Scarlett & Karrion Kross, he’d take the microphone to address anyone who was listening. Three weeks ago, he came out and made everything clear. All you need to do is step up to him, but instead folks just claimed they weren’t afraid of Kross. What is everyone waiting for? Give the fans what they want, give them a fight!
Kross is NXT Champion, and folks need to come to him and prove themselves right. Next week, he’s going to take Austin Theory out. But this week, he’s got someone stepping up like he wanted. Kyle O’Reilly would make his way down to the ring. He’s beaten the best NXT Champion of all time in Adam Cole, so he has few reasons to fear Kross.
Neither Does Pete Dunne, Finn Balor, or Johnny Gargano
O’Reilly gets why people think they should be afraid of Karrion Kross, and he decided to come to the ring to tell Kross that he doesn’t fear him. This is the match that O’Reilly wants, and the match that Kross wants. It’s not the match that Pete Dunne wants though, so his music hits and he’d make his way to the ring slowly.
He doesn’t care who wants to see this match, the new Kyle O’Reilly, or who the NXT Champion is. Dunne is the baddest man in NXT, and he wants someone to prove him wrong. Why not have that be Finn Balor? Balor defeated Dunne after all, and O’Reilly as well. The only man in the ring he didn’t beat yet is Kross. When Kross is done with Theory, Balor is next. A brawl would break out., and Kross was the one still standing.
That was until Theory & Gargano jumped Kross from behind, and they’d nail a double superkick. Gargano nailed him with the NXT North American Championship, before heading to the back.
Are we about to see Balor vs. O’Reilly vs. Dunne in a number one contenders match? Could we be in for Champion vs. Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
