WWE Raw Preview is set for some more possible copying and pasting of storylines tonight as we once again look forward to Bobby Lashley’s reaction to something.
While this is at least the third time his reaction has been billed, they through an interesting angle into the storyline as Kofi Kingston put himself in the number one contender’s spot.
This comes after Kingston pinned him with a rollup last week after Drew McIntyre’s interference.
Lashley dominated the match, but Kingston put up a good fight and while McIntyre saved Kingston from taking a shot from MVP’s cane, the fact said cane won the match for Kingston.
Lashley and MVP will be irate.
Now that we’ve stated the obvious, this is where we’re shifting the focus to how Kingston will react since he had help.
While he’ll be grateful to McIntyre, we think Kingston will want to prove himself one on one against Lashley to see if KofiMania 2 is a thing.
We said last week that we wished we could’ve seen Kingston make some sort of comeback, so maybe we’ll get that tonight instead of him needing a helping hand again.
McIntyre will be fine with that, but we expect him to step into it again because he’s the new Roman Reigns being shoved down our throats instead of giving us a break.
Women’s tag team’s championship
After Shayna Baszler forced Natalya to tap out to the Kirifuda Clutch in their six person tag match on Friday’s WWE Smackdown, she’s lined herself and Nia Jax up for a rematch tonight.
Or would that be a rematch’s rematch? It’s hard to keep track anymore.
While we love Baszler and Jax, we would like to see Natalya and Tamina hold onto the titles and send them to the back of the line to give some of the other teams a chance to shine.
It’s a distinct possibility this could happen, but we think it’s more likely that Jax and Baszler will have the win all lined up when Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Lana, and Naomi or some combination thereof will interfere and cause them to lose.
It’ll be touted as a great win against the bullies, but in reality it’ll make Natalya and Tamina look week and open up rivalries
It should be interesting to see which way the WWE creative decides to go with this, and WWE Raw Preview can’t help but look forward to it.
