On Sunday at Double Or Nothing, we are set to see Kenny Omega take on both PAC & Orange Cassidy for the AEW World Championship. However, Orange Cassidy has a chance to change the card. He’s been given an offer from Don Callis & Kenny Omega, to defer his title shot to a later date. After potentially suffering a neck injury in his last match against PAC, he might be coming in 100%. He ripped up the first contract, but was given the second as well as plenty of time to think about it. Tonight, we got his answer.
PAC Calls Kenny Omega A Coward
Before OC could hit the ring to give his answer, PAC would stomp to the ring looking ready to fight everyone before sending Schiavone running. PAC would apologize sarcastically to the crowd for letting them down, and say that they’ll be even more let down at Double Or Nothing when he walks out as AEW World Champion. Omega would be called out for ducking and dodging and manipulating to lengthen his reign.
PAC called for Omega to hit the ring, but Callis would come on the screen to agree that PAC is a threat to his reign. Omega try to sneak from behind, but PAC cut him down with some kicks. The Good Brothers rushed in to help beat PAC down, Lucha Bros would drive them off soon after to just leave Omega & PAC.
Orange Cassidy Gives His Answer At His Own Pace
Omega would look to hit One Winged Angel, and OC would finally make his way down to the ring. Best Friends would hang out nearby just in case, as OC pulled out a note for Omega. He’d give his answer, that being another torn up contract and an Orange Punch to the champion.
OC would look to raise the title, but PAC would stomp on it and look for a powerbomb only to take an Orange Punch. He’d left the title about waist height, and gave a thumbs up. Tonight, he proved that he can drop both Omega & PAC, but can he do it again in two nights?
