Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
This should be a fun night as we unpack the carnage left by Hell in a Cell and find out who’s next to challenge the Almighty Bobby Lashley.
We’ll be back for the 8 p.m. EST showtime to get WWE Raw Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Bobby Lashley and MVP came out with Lashley’s ladies to celebrate and were interrupted by the New Day.
Kofi Kingston challenged Lashley for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank and Lashley accepted, then challenged Xavier Woods for tonight.
Woods accepted but their match will be a Hell in a Cell.
They’re really getting some mileage out of HIAC matches, aren’t they?
Segment 2
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – AJ Styles w/Omos vs. Ricochet
This started fast and Styles rammed Ricochet into the ring post as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a good match that ended when Ricochet countered a Phenomenal Forearm with a cutter for the win. Of course, Styles was distracted when the Viking Warriors ran out to attack Omos.
We just can’t get a clean match anymore.
Segment 4
We were introduced to Eva Marie’s protege who Marie named Doudrop.
Segment 5
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Doudrop and Eva Maria vs. Asuka and Naomi
This was a storybuilding match as Doudrop dominated Asuka and Naomi, but Marie tagged herself in when Naomi was down.
Doudrop refused to tag in and Naomi rolled up Marie to win and qualify for the MITB.
Segment 6
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville gave Charlotte Flair a rematch at MITB because Rhea Ripley abused the championship rules by purposely disqualifying herself.
Segment 7
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Randy Orton vs. John Morrison w/The Miz
This started off as an athletic and hold clinic before it went to the floor and Orton dropped Morrison on the announce table and backed Miz off as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
Orton took over the match Orton Style and was set for the win when the Miz sprayed him in the face with the Drip Stick.
Riddle came out and chased the Miz in his wheelchair with his scooter, distracting Orton for Morrison to hang Orton up and then hit Starship Pain for the win.
Segment 9
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax w/Reginald
Nikki has adopted a butterfly-like superhero persona, and after a good back and forth with Baszler, and took out Reginald, Jax, and Baszler on the ring after Alexa hypnotized Reginald.
Segment 10
Alexa caused some mayhem while Nikki’s new persona ruled the day with a rollup win on Baszler.
Still would love to know why Alexa and Nikki were teamed together considering they aren’t friends (storyline) anymore.
Segment 11
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Riddle
This started off slow but quickly grew into a brutal contest as Riddle focused on McIntyre’s injured back when McIntyre wasn’t throwing him around.
Riddle shoved him back first into a ringpost and hit a belly to belly suplex on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
The brutality continued as Riddle and McIntyre pounded on each other without mercy.
Randy Orton came out to watch as we headed to commercial. Will he help or hinder Riddle?
Segment 13
After a few close false finishes, Riddle rolled McIntyre up out of an Electric Chair for the win.
Segment 14
Hell in a Cell Match – Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston
Lashley dominated early on, but Woods hit a couple of dropkicks into the cage and wore a chair out of Lashley as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
Woods nearly stole the win a couple of times, but Lashley eventually prevailed after hitting a spear and slapping on the Hurt Lock for the submission.
Afterwards, MVP locked himself in the cell with Woods and Lashley and Lashley locked on another Hurt Lock and pressed Woods against the cell in a helpless Kingston’s face.
This was a rough episode, though the last two matches made up for the rest of them.
