If you’re a wrestling fan, you have already heard the news that Bryan Danielson and CM Punk are signed with AEW. Currently, however, AEW has not confirmed these signings, but CM Punk has teased it by following the company and Tony Khan.
As well as Tony Khan also teasing it behind the scenes when speaking to Konnan. Apart from that, however, we have no confirmation whether both have officially signed with AEW. The sources where the information came from was highly trusted.
Bryan Danielson at AEW Rampage
August is a massive month for AEW as their second show is debuting on August 13th on Friday nights. The new show is only an hour long, but a lot can happen in AEW in an hour. AEW are going to need something big on Rampage to get eyes on their new show.
Bryan Danielson could be the big surprise that gets eyes on the new weekly show. AEW Dynamite had the massive takeover of the Inner Circle, and Rampage may have Bryan Danielson.
CM Punk at All Out in Chicago
It is easy to predict where CM Punk could debut as Chicago is CM Punk’s hometown, and the upcoming PPV All Out will be in Chicago. It has been reported that TNT doesn’t really like massive surprises, not on the weekly show after Sting debut being one of them.
Making it is likely that he might be debuting on a weekly show rather than a PPV. But it just seems too perfect not to pull the trigger. Unless he debuts before All Out and books a match before then, that is currently looking unlikely.
