Anne, for her part, has been an integral member of the Royal family. She was one of the members that was there for Queen Elizabeth II during the passing of the late Prince Philip.
It is no surprise that Anne and the Queen attended the Children’s Wood Project for a day out just prior to her birthday. This initiative aims to preserve the land that is in the west of Glasgow, so that the public can use it for their well-being.
Its mission is to connect people with nature. And it was here where the Queen and Anne were on hand to watch some children taking full advantage of this project.
That is why the Royals made sure they remembered Anne, on her special day, because of her willingness to give back. In a post to their followers on Instagram, the Royal family shared a portrait of Anne smiling.
Next to the picture are some balloons and a slice of cake. The post was captioned with the following comments: “Wishing HRH The Princess Royal a happy birthday today.”
Those warm messages were just the start. Her brother Prince Charles also came out to express his wishes. In the following photo, we can see Charles holding Anne’s hand while she was a baby.
