Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
This should be an interesting night as Randy Orton will challenge Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and Big E has promised to cash in his MITB contract as they go head to head with the NFL’s first Monday Night Football of the season.
We’re curious what other matches may have been moved around or created as they’ll try to maintain the momentum from Smackdown on Friday.
We’re going to grab some snacks and will be back at the 8 p.m. EST showtime to kick off WWE Raw Live Results, so we’ll see you then!
Segment 1
Big E, Randy Orton, and Bobby Lashley exchanged pleasantries to start things off, and while Big E and Lashley faced off Orton hit Lashley with his third RKO in three weeks.
Segment 2
Championship Contenders Match – Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler
This started quick with a couple of reversals, and Flair hit a crossbody over the top rope as we headed to commercial.
We’re expecting Nia Jax to pop up after the break and cost Baszler this match. We hope not, but we’ll see.
Segment 3
The back and forth continued with Flair having a definite edge as she hit a moonsault off the top rope to the floor.
Nia Jax then came out as we headed to commercial. Here we go.
Segment 4
Jax distracted Baszler for Flair to hit a big boot for the win, then Alexa Bliss came out and gave Flair her own doll named Charlie.
Flair threw the doll back at her and Alexa hit a Canadian Destroyer to send Flair out of the ring.
Segment 5
Drew McIntyre and the Viking Raiders vs. Jinder Mahal, Shanky, and Veer
This was a quick one Drew won with a Claymore on Shanky for the win. We’re wondering if Ivar’s injured since he didn’t remove his shirt and didn’t take part. Hope everything’s okay.
Segment 6
United States Championship – Damian Priest (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Priest and the announcers couldn’t say enough about Jeff being an idol, basically offering this as a peace offering for having him chase the 24/7 Championship last week.
Priest hit a senton on the floor, and since Sheamus joined the announcers and he and Priest stood nose to nose as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
This was a great match Priest won after reversing a Twist of Fate into a Reckoning. Sheamus attacked him right afterwards, but Priest countered his Brogue Kick with one of his own.
Segment 8
Nikki A.S.H. w/Rhea Ripley vs Tamina w/Natalya
Tamina dominated but Nikki hit a DDT off he middle rope for the win. This looked so unbelievable. Tamina even looked like she didn’t know how to sell some of the moves with their size discrepancy.
Segment 9
Natalya vs. Rhea Ripley
It started off with some great reversals and counters, but Natalya slowly took over and hit a snap suplex on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was a fun match and Ripley won by submission after Nikki came back out to help even the odds.
Segment 11
Mansoor and Mustafa Ali and The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. AJ Styles, Omos and Mace, T-Bar
Mansoor and the New Day traded several tags to start off working over Styles, ignoring Ali’s attempt. Ali tagged himself in and Mace and T-bar proceeded to dominate as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
This was a fun match where everyone got their shots in until Omos stepped in and Ali looked depressed as he was the lucky recipient of a chokeslam for Omos to score the win.
Segment 13
Doudrop vs. Eva Marie
This was a quick one but Marie put up a fight before Doudrop hit a senton and crossbody for the pin
Segment 14
WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley (c) w/MVP vs. Randy Orton w/Riddle
This started off with Orton playing head games and making Lashley chase him to the floor a handful of times. Lashley caught up with him, but Orton suplexed him onto the barricade and clotheslined him into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
A really good match ended when Lashley hit a second spear for the win, and Big E came out to cash in his MITB contract. It’s after the commercial break.
Segment 16
WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Big E
After a quick back and forth where Big E kicked out of a spear to hit the Big Ending for the win.
This is great to see, but it was pretty obvious it was going to happen after all the build up, but it doesn’t take away from the moment at all. Big E deserves it and our congratulations to him and we hope he has a long reign.
The show was hit or miss through parts but decent overall. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results. We had a blast hanging out and can’t wait for next week.
See you all then!
