We’ve reached the end of the path to Victory Road, and Impact Wrestling Impact Wrestling Victory Road Preview (9/18) is stoked for tonight’s event.
There are so many great matches ahead, we can’t wait so let’s dive into our previews and predictions.
Triple Threat – Steve Macklin vs. Petey Williams vs. TJP
Steve Macklin’s been on a tear since coming to Impact Wrestling and he’s going to face his toughest challenge yet as he’ll face both of his recent targets in a 2 Way as he takes on TJP and Petey Williams.
If Petey and TJP were on the same page we’d pick one of them to win, but we think Macklin’s going to continue his run it what we expect to be an awesome match.

Taylor Wilde w/Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering vs. Tenille Dashwood w/Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K
After Tenille has pulled out every trick imaginable to defeat her, Wilde’s got Jordynne Grave and Rachael Ellering in her corner to even the odds to give Wilder her best chance to win yet.
This will be a fun match and we think Wilde will finally get her win to put Tenille behind her.
No Disqualification – Matt Cardona w/Chelsea Green vs. Rohit Raju w/Shera
After Rohit nailed Chelsea Green with his Tiger Knee in a mixed tag match and then faux apologized for his action.
Cardona had enough of it and he’s finally got a no DQ match against Rohit, and we have a feeling Green and Shera will play a role in it, but Cardona will get the win and his vengeance after a hard fought match.
Tag Team Championship – The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) (c) vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack
The Good Brothers have tried every tactic to know Mack or Swann out so this match wouldn’t happen, but all four men will be ready to go and this will be a great one.
As much as we’d love to see Swann and Mack with the gold, we think The Good Brothers will find a way to slip out with the win.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Decay (Rosemary and Havok) (c) vs. Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans
Tasha Steelz is obsessed with recapturing the Knockouts tag titles and she found a partner that can match anyone in the ring in power and moves in Savannah Evans.
After stealing Decay’s titles and running off, the running will stop tonight as the teams face off and We expect Decay to come out the winners.
Steelz and Evans will make it tough, but their mind games are only going to give Havok and Rosemary more focus and that’s not a good thing.
Chris Bey and Hikuleo vs. FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay)
Juice Robinson will be looking for some payback, but it’s going to be an uphill battle for him and David Finlay against Chris Bey and Hikuleo as the latter pair have the momentum at the moment.
Since Bey doesn’t care as much about winning as sending a message at the moment, we expect this to become one of the more physical matches of the night before FinJuice finds a way to score the win.
Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards vs. Moose and W. Morrissey
This is the match Impact Wrestling Victory Road Preview is really looking forward to as it’s just fun seeing Edwards and Callihan on the same team.
We think they’ll end up with the win, and this is going to be the dark horse for match of the night. This is just going to be a fun one.
X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Chris Sabin
This will be the match of the night, and it’s going to also be in contention for match of the year as Alexander has put on classic after classic and has rekindled plenty of comparisons to Bret Hart.
This will go to near the limit of both men and time frame, and Alexander will walk away the champion as he cements his legacy during his first title reign.
Impact World Championship – Christian Cage (c) vs. Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton
This will be an awesome match up there with Alexander and Sabin’s as few in the business are as good at storytelling in the ring as Christian and Austin’s on the cusp of becoming something really special.
He’s climbed the mountain at a breakneck pace and it’d be awesome to see him claim the Impact World Championship, but we don’t think Christian’s run is over yet.
Though it would be a perfect moment for Christian to pass the torch to the young sensation, so we wouldn’t have any complaints.
