Impact Wrestling Victory Road Results expect this to be the match of the night, and we’re buckling up for the ride.
They exchanged holds and reversals early on as they put on a clinic. Their next exchange saw Sabin sent Alexander to the floor and hit a running kick and flip before bowing to the fans.

Back in the ring, Alexander caught him in the ropes with a kick and a low crossbody to Sabin’s back on the apron.
Sabin knocked Alexander off the apron and hit another dive off the top rope and then threw Alexander into the ring for a pin attempt.
Sabin turned a front face lock into a neckbreaker and then a second one for a pin attempt.
They exchanged blows until Alexander caught Sabin off the top rope in an ankle lock, but Sabin got to the ropes to break the hold and rolled to the floor.
Alexander slammed him onto the apron and rolled him into the ring where he hit a backbreaker for a pin attempt.
Alexander hit a gut wrench supex and a standard one for a pin attempt, and he then went to work on Sabin’s back and neck.
Alexander continued the ground and pound after whipping Sabin into a turnbuckle and hitting a splash. Sabin fought back, and Alexander hit a couple of knees and a bodyslam for a pin attempt.
Alexander missed a moonsault when Sabin rolled toward the ropes to get a breather, and then Sabin went on the attack with a missile dropkick that sent Alexander to the floor.
Sabin followed him out and hit a running neckbreaker, and then a draping neckbreaker off the apron.
In the ring, Sabin hit another missile dropkick to Alexander’s back for a near pinfall.

Alexander countered Sabin’s block of a powerbomb into a backbreaker, and then missed a charge and hit the ring post with his shoulder.
Sabin went to work on Alexander’s left arm and locked in a crossface, then rolled Alexander over for a pin attempt.
Alexander locked in an ankle lock but Sabin rolled through it for a pin attempt and Alexander maintained the ankle lock and synched it in. Sabin bridged back for a pin attempt to break the hold.
Alexander hit a C-4 Spike for the win.
After the match, Sabin congratulated him and tool a moment to tell him something in private and then embrace him.

Christian forced Austin into a corner on their first lock up, and they exchanged a go behind for their second attempt.
Christian caught Austin with a shoulder block off the ropes, and then locked in a wrist lock Austin broke with a step over.
They exchanged blows and holds before Christian hit a flapjack for a pin attempt.
Austin sent Christian to the floor and Austin’s athleticism was on full display before Christian came to a stop in front of Fulton and Austin hit him with a kick from behind.
Austin hit a series of kicks but he got cocky and Christian got a couple of shots in before Austin nailed him with a spinning kick.
Austin then locked in an armbar and gave Christian a card cut and went to work on Christian’s left arm.
After a vicious right by Christian, Austin caught him with an elbow that sent Christian to the floor. Brian Hebner caught Fulton ready to go after Christian and banned him from ringside.
Back in the ring, Christian hit a tornado DDT for a near pinfall, and then a forearm off the ropes.
Christian kept his foot on the gas as he hit a forearm off the ropes for a pin attempt and hammered Austin with twenty rights in the corner.

Austin did a double leg takedown for a pin and Christian reversed it and the two traded pin attempts a couple more times.
Austin dodged two of Christian’s charges and caught him with a kick for a pin attempt, but Austin started to get frustrated.
Christian hung him up on the ropes but missed a frog splash when Austin rolled toward him.
Christian countered the Fold with a spear for a near pinfall.
After thwarting Fulton’s interference, Christian hit a Kill Switch for the win and to retain the Impact World Championship.
This was a great match and both really shined in this match.
As Christian celebrated, Josh Alexander came out and offered to relinquish the X-Division Championship for a title shot at Bound For Glory.
