A new championship has been rumoured for a while. But before now, the rumoured championship mainly was focused on the new triple tag belts. However, it has been confirmed that we are now getting a second women’s belt as part of the move from TNT to TBS in the future. Andrew Zarian now reports that the belt will be called the TBS championship and will work how the TNT championship works for the men’s roster.
When will we see the new TBS championship?
It has not yet been confirmed when the women’s roster will get the second championship. But with the move of AEW going from TNT to TBS. It’s likely that the second belt will be revealed on the first show of the show’s new location. Making it possible that the new TBS championship will be revealed early next year when the move is finalized. It’s likely that AEW will have a special event for this change when it happens.
Are we still getting Triple Tag belts?
Currently, there is no mention of when we will be getting the Triple Tag championships. However, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t still in the works. Looking at how the roster is being used, it is likely that the Triple Tag championships are still coming. With the likes of the SuperFliq, Jurassic Express and others. It seems like the Triple Tag belts are just getting built up, ready for when there are enough teams together to keep feuds going.
