‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that it looks like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may have gotten the inside scoop on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) thanks to help from none other than Jesse Gaines Jr. (Jamison Jones). Billy, love him or hate him, is damn good at getting to the bottom of things and reading people.
He immediately put together than Jesse knew something about Ashland and he was being paid off not to tell, however, Billy may have just bought all the information he needs about Ashland Locke. As it turns out, Billy offered $100,000 to Jesse for the information, however, Jesse wrote $500,000 on a napkin as Ashland was knocking at the door.

We didn’t actually see Billy agree to the new terms, but he did seem very cheery when he saw Ashland and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the lobby of the hotel. Plus, back in his office, he remarked that it was a shame that there would be no more wedding, indicating he got the information he needed to shut down Ashland once and for all.
However, Victor is also a pro at reading people, and based on Billy’s demeanor went up to confront Jesse himself. Jesse was frozen in shock, and it looks like Victor knows there’s something going on as well! Ashland’s world is literally crumbling around him.
It’s only a matter of time until Billy gets the story printed, Victor gets the info out of Jesse and all the while, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is going to New Jersey to get his own answers!
