WWE Smackdown Results returned and Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville welcomed us back for Round Two.
Smackdown – Drew McIntyre, Raw – Rk-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle), Smackdown – The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods), Raw – Edge.
Drew McIntyre was interviewed backstage and asked where his mindset is for Smackdown and he said he’s excited and he’s thinking of a lot of things.
He talked about how he started on Smackdown and there was unfinished business, and the Universal Championship is his future.
Edge then headed to the ring to respond to Seth Rollins’ demand last week, and he thanked Baltimore for their welcome.
He’s excited to be drafted to Raw because it’s new opponents and a challenge, and he turned his attention to Rollins.

He called Rollins out to the ring and Rollins appeared on the titantron, laughing.
Rollins said he’s impressed that Edge came back. He then called Edge a liar while he’s an honest man, and he’s not at Smackdown. He’s at Edge’s house and Edge ran to the back as Rollins entered the house.
Rollins made himself at home and dug through Edge’s refrigerator since the house was empty and sat down to a snack.
Rollins mocked Edge’s daughters’ drawing, and then mocked the family painting and said it’s good they look like Beth Phoenix.
Edge was on the phone with his wife and told her to go to her brother’s.
Carmella vs. Liv Morgan

Morgan slugged Carmella right away and Carmella headed to the floor to insult Morgan for trying to destroy her face and called for a protective shield to be put on.
Carmella went right after Morgan and hit a superkick and face plant all before the match started and bringing it to an end.
WWE 2021 Draft Round Three
Pearce and Deville started round three.
Smackdown – Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss, Raw – Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H., Smackdown – Hit Row, Raw – Keith “Bearcat” Lee.
The New Day and Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy and Dirty Dawgs
Kofi and Ziggler started it off with Ziggler going for Kofi’s leg and the two exchanging reversals before Kofi hit a spinning elbow off the ropes for a pin attempt.
Woods and the Ford came in and they focused on Ziggler’s left arm, but Ziggler nailed Ford in the ribs and tagged in Gable.
Gable put on an impressive move set to get free and take down Ford and then roll him up for a pin attempt. He caught Ford’s frog leap from behind and went for an ankle lock.
Ford fought free and hit a back body drop, then knocked Gable’s partners to the floor.
Ford tried a crossbody on Otis off the apron, but Otis caught him and dropped him on the apron, then threw him into the barricade as we headed to commercial.

Back from commercial, they’re in the ring and Ford hit a flip over the top rope and Gable countered it into a bridge for a near pinfall.
Ziggler tagged in and stopped Ford from tagging out, then ate a slap and step up kick.
Dawkins tagged in as did Roode, and Dawkins took out everyone and then hit Roode with a corkscrew elbow and a spinning neckbreaker for a pin attempt Otis broke up.
Otis nailed Woods with a backhand and Ford sent him to the floor where he hit Otis with a dive. The rest got into it as Roode hit a spinebuster for a near pinfall.
The New Day tagged in and Wood hit a double stomp on Roode for the win.
This was a decent match, but WWE Smackdown Results would love to see them go for a full half hour or longer one of these days.
