In a battle between three of the top women in AEW, we will see a rare triple threat. Jade Cargill will be an underdog as she steps between Thunder Rosa and Nyla Rose. Rose & Rosa are proven champions, but this match is still anyone’s game. Add in the chance of a shot at Britt Baker for the victor – and all three better be determined.
But First, CM Punk Has Something To Say
Before this match, we’d hear from CM Punk. He’s gotten two wins in AEW, a hard fought match over Darby Allin & Powerhouse Hobbs. He knows there is a target on his back, but he wants this. Punk wants the best people in AEW to step up to him, and when they do – nap time is coming.
There is a ton of potential with CM Punk, but he doesn’t seem to be done with Team Taz just yet. Ricky Starks might just be a great next match for Punk, and could even be his first loss in AEW. No matter what the future holds for CM Punk in AEW, fans are just glad to have him back.
Jade Cargill Gets Biggest Win Yet
Rosa would go right after Jade, before hitting a high roundhouse on Nyla. A facebuster dropped Jade, before Rosa took a heavy chop from Nyla. Sent into the corner, Rosa took the sky only to be caught into a slam by Nyla. Jade & Nyla squared off, two of the strongest women in AEW. They’d trade blows, but a Pump Kick took Nyla down with ease.
Nyla was sent outside, but she took her eyes off Rosa and took a big missile dropkick as we went to a short commercial break. Once we got back to action, there was a trash can in the ring and on the chest of Jade as Rosa nailed a dropkick. Table was set up outside the ring, but Nyla was hit with a spinebuster in the ring.
Nyla would take Jade down and get a single leg crab before a dropkick from Rosa broke it up. Rosa was taken outside with bad intentions, but would powerbomb Nyla off the apron instead of being sent through it. Jade would pick her spot and hit Rosa with a steel chair. Nyla was out, and some Lance Storm style chair shots ended this.
