I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for what looks like an amazing show as we deal with the fallout from the Knockout Knockdown PPV and continue to Bound For Glory in 9 days.
We’ll be back to get Impact Wrestling Live Results rolling at the 8 p.m. EST show time, so grab plenty of snacks and buckle up for the ride.
Segment 1
Before The Impact (BTI) – Hernandez w/Johnny Swinger vs. Fallah Bahh
This was a fun one Bahh won with a splash after Swinger accidentally hit Hernandez with his loaded fanny pack.
Segment 2
X-Division Championship Tournament – El Phantasmo vs. Rohit Raju vs. Willie Mack
El Phantasmo won an exciting match after punching Rohit in the Rohit Jewels and hitting a front slam for the win.
Segment 3
Savannah Evans vs. Lady Frost
This was a pretty good match that Evans controlled for the most part while Frost had some moments to make it interesting.
After Evans won with a full nelson slam, Deonna Purrazzo came out and asked her to be her poison for Mickie James next week and Evans agreed.
Segment 4
VSK w/ Brian Myers vs. Rich Swann w/Willie Mack
VSK took over early on, but Swann quickly fought back and took control with combination strikes and a Phoenix Splash for the win.
Segment 5
Chris Sabin w/FinJuice vs. Chris Bey w/El Phantasmo and Hikuleo
This was an awesome match that went back and forth until Sabin countered a roll by Bey with a step up kick and followed it with a Cradle Shock for the win.
Segment 6
Call Your Shot Gauntlet Battle Royale
This was a fun one and it came down to Morrissey and Sabin, and Morrissey tossed him over the top rope to secure being number one in the Call Your Shot gauntlet. Sabin will be number one.
Segment 7
Bound For Glory Summit
Josh Mathews went back and forth with Josh Alexander and Christian Cage, asking them questions.
Alexander said he’s a huge fan of Christian, and Christian said he’s a fan of his but Alexander’s in over his head.
When a video played at an AEW fan fest when the fans told Christian they’d love to see him face Alexander he said he didn’t know who that was.
Christian tried to laugh it off, but Alexander told him he’s either a liar now or then and has no more respect for him.
Christian closed the show by pointing out Alexander can’t control his emotions.
This was a fun show, but we feel it was missing something to really put it over, but we’re just not sure what. It could just be us.
