When it comes to WWE, their PPV events are generally where you are going to see a lot of the best moments and matches. Exceptions like the Fatal Four Way ladder match on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW do apply, but generally when you want the good stuff – you have to pay for the Network (or Peacock in the US) or traditional PPV. Thankfully going into 2022, we already have the full list of events and where to expect them.

Two Night Wrestlemania Is Back, More Saturday PPV Events

The full announced list is as follows.

Saturday, January 1: Day 1 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia

Saturday, January 29: Royal Rumble at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri

Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3: WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas

Sunday, May 8: Pay-per-view at Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island

Sunday, June 5: Pay-per-view at Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois

Saturday, July 2: Money in the Bank at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada

Saturday, July 30: SummerSlam at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee

Saturday, September 3 or Sunday, September 4: Pay-per-view at TBD location

Saturday, November 26: Survivor Series at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts

Notable gaps in February & October are likely to be filled by their annual Saudi Arabia super shows, like the recent Crown Jewel. This list shows a welcome trend of Saturday Night PPV events – and another two night Wrestlemania in Dallas, Texas. However the Labour Day weekend show is up in the air, due to WWE trying to sort out a spot in the UK.

WWE To Run A UK PPV Event In September?

This mysterious Labour Day weekend PPV is currently planned to be set in the UK, as WWE has been hoping to run another large show there in 2022. With big names from the area like Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Becky Lynch and WALTER possible – this is a show that could really bring back some life to their exploits in the UK.

NXT UK has hit a bit of a stagnant run, with the return of fans to the arena hardly helping. WWE needs to make a major play, and this could be it. Another interesting point here is that this would put them potentially at war with AEW All Out, which has always been set on Labour Day weekend. If WWE runs the UK for this event, we won’t have any time overlap however. Talks are still in play in regards to what venue they run, with Wembley Stadium being in the conversation. This was the home of Summerslam ’92, one of the most fondly remembered WWE events of all time.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
