Prince Harry reportedly started to panic when he found out that Queen Elizabeth II had been taken to hospital recently.
Prince Harry ‘Felt Helpless’ Following The Queen’s Recent Hospitalisation
According to reports, the Queen was taken to hospital in order to let her recuperate over the amount of work that she had been doing. As a result, her state visit to Northern Ireland was cancelled following some medical advice.
Given that she is 95-years-old and not going to be getting any younger, Harry has been left feeling very distressed. A source revealed: “He felt helpless being 5,000 miles away in Montecito, and has been checking-in non-stop with her.”
Harry’s distance from the Royal family is causing him concern. Not only was he away following the passing of Prince Philip, but he has also been put in a similar position once again.
And that is why Harry wants to make sure that he can see the Queen before anything serious were to potentially happen. The source added: “[He] would never forgive himself if the same thing happened with his beloved grandmother.
“[He is] hoping to go back home for Christmas with Meghan, if not before, so that she can finally get to meet Lilibet and see Archie again.”
Harry will have to get a move on if the speculation surrounding the Queen’s health is true. There is an increasing feeling that Prince William will take over the majority of duties, as it has become clear that the Queen cannot continue in the same manner.
Although that is the case, Harry has forged himself a new life overseas. Therefore, he cannot just give everything up to help. After all, he knew this was going to be a consequence of leaving the Royal family.
And as for the Queen, the writing looks to be on the wall. Another source remarked: “The queen is finally acknowledging that she won’t be around forever and needs to slow down.”
Harry will have to consider what he does next with his life very carefully. He has already spoken out against the Royals, but in the meantime, it is probably wise that he is just there for the Queen.
