‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star Sheree Whitfield’s boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams is reportedly taking legal action against the TV network Bravo.
RHOA: Sheree Whitfield’s Boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams Takes Legal Action Against The Show’s Network
The primary reason why Tyrone feels this way is because he has reportedly accused the network of using his name without actually gaining his permission.
However, it is important to bear in mind that Tyrone has been on the show before. Therefore, it is only natural that his name is mentioned, given that he does have a connection with the franchise.
Accordingly, Tyrone’s legal team have sent a cease and desist letter which includes the following words: “[The network] have awfully used Mr Gilliam’s name.
“[This is] in violation of numerous state and federal laws governing misappropriation and rights of privacy.” And given that Tyrone did not apparently consent to this, he wants to make sure that he gets some redress as a result.
But this is not the only thing that is on Tyrone’s mind. In fact, according to reports, he is not speaking to Sheree as of now.
This is because of the fact that she wanted to have Tyrone on the new season, but in doing so, it would have put Tyrone back in jail because he would have been in violation of his home confinement order.
In the picture here, we can see that Sheree is sitting at a table in a restaurant for two, but one chair is noticeably empty with a camera looking on in the background.
The picture was captioned by the following comments: “OOP! The OG Sheree was spotted filming in Philly!” Clearly, this was meant to be the place that Tyrone would have met her.
And given that he did not end up going there, it is no surprise that he is peeved with Sheree, as that action could have gotten him into major trouble.
Time will tell what happens with Tyrone’s legal action, but given everything that has happened, it is probably wise that the TV network avoids getting itself into a situation that is already tense at the moment.
In this way, they can avoid getting themselves into further legal trouble. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below. Remember to stay up to date with the latest news on TheOvertimer. Don’t forget to visit Screenstinger for great videos, news, and gameplay!
