Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7Y1OE70LB8&t=4s
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re in for an interesting night with Edge returning, Big E taking on Kevin Owens, and more in ring action.
We’ll be back for the 8 p.m. EST showtime to get WWE Raw Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
Before the match, Seth Rollins announced he’ll face Big E for the WWE Championship on January 1.
Finn Balor came out and attacked Rollins, and after the bell rang he hit a dropkick and a dive over the ropes as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
A fun match to start the night ended after several pin attempts when Rollins hit a Stomp on Balor for the win.
Segment 3
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan contract signing
Their back and forth led to a 5 on 5 tag team challenge by Lynch, which Liv accepted. The teams were already in place and appeared on the titantron. Not so much a spur of the moment thing.
Segment 4
Raw Tag Team Championship – RK-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle) (c) vs. Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode)
The Dirty Dawgs attacked from behind as soon as the bell rang and kept the pressure on as Ziggler hit Orton with a superkick on the floor and Roode slammed Riddle into the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Segment 5
This was the best match of the night as the Dirty Dawgs came so close, but Orton blocked a superkick by Ziggler and hit a RKO for the win.
Segment 6
Edge and the Miz had a great back and forth exchange and Edge praised him, then dressed him down before inviting him to fight him. The Miz declined. This is the second time in two weeks a heel did this. Is it the next weekly antic?
Segment 7
The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins, Montez Ford) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis, Chad Gable)
This was a quick one Ford won after fighting off a newly not blind AJ Styles to hit a From the Heavens on Gable for the win.
Segment 8
United States Championship – Damian Priest vs. Apollo Crews w/Commander Azeez
This started out with them exchanging holds briefly, then it went to the floor where Azeez distracted Priest so Crews could hit a knee off the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
This was a good match as they traded blow for blow, but when Azeez grabbed Priest’s foot on the ropes and triggered Priest. Priest pummeled Crews and hit a reckoning for the win.
Segment 10
Rey and Dominik Mysterio vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin
This was a quick semi-squash as Dominik hit a frog splash on Alexander for the win.
Segment 11
Team Morgan (Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Nikki A.S.H., Dana Brooke) vs. Team Becks (Becky Lynch, Carmella, Queen Zelina, Doudrop, Tamina
Team Becks controlled it early on after a 5 on one attack on Ripley, then they saved Tamina from a KOD when she was surrounded and they headed to the floor to regroup as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
Things broke down and everyone traded shots, and Ripley got Carmella alone in the ring, but Carmella escaped a Riptide and hit a superkick for a near pinfall as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
Morgan hit Oblivion on Tamina for the win and after Lynch attacked her, Team Liv fought them off and held the ring after Liv hit Lynch with Oblivion.
Segment 14
Big E vs. Kevin Owens
If Owens wins he’ll make the chammpionship match at Day One a triple threat. Anyone wanna bet Rollins will do something to accidentally cost Big E the match to make it a triple threat?
Segment 15
Rollins came down to join the announcers before the match got started.
The match itself started off with the two going back and forth, and Owens hit a DDT on the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was a great match until Owens attacked Rollins a second time and it set Rollins off and he attacked Owens to hive him a DQ win and make their title match a triple threat.
Rollins then superkicked Big E and hit him with a Stomp before he realized what he did.
Whelp, we called it. Good thing WWE creative isn’t predictable at all.
Overall, the show wasn’t that good but it wasn’t worse than last week’s. They did a better job of having consistent storylines this week, so we’re hoping that means they’re heading in the right direction.
What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results. We had a great time hanging out and can’t wait for next week.
