Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison has kept a low profile ever since his departure from the franchise.
‘The Bachelor’: Wells Adams Backs Chris Harrison To Make A Return To The TV Screen-‘That’s My Feeling’
Chris’ time on the show was up following claims that he was perpetuating racism, as a result of his comments in response to the Rachael Kirkconnell scandal.
Given that there has been a significant amount of time since Chris left, as shown by the fact that the franchise has replaced him with Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe, one former star of the show believes it is only a matter of time before Chris hits the TV screens once again.
Step forward: Wells Adams. He has backed Chris to take up another project, given that he has such a solid foundation and still plenty to offer in his career.
During an interview with Us Weekly, Wells said: “I’m not him. I can’t speak for him. But I got a feeling that he’s got something up his sleeve. That’s my feeling.
“That something has been cooking with the old Harrison. I’m excited to see what he does.” As of now, there is nothing to suggest that Chris has agreed to appear on something.
However, given the fact that Wells and Chris do have a good relationship, there is a feeling that Wells could have some inside knowledge.
This is especially true since he admitted to staying in touch with Chris following his departure, and they do have mutual respect for one another.
He added: “He’s doing really well. He actually was the first person to congratulate me after I announced that I’m hosting this new show on Hulu called Best In Dough.
“[That] is a testament to his character.” Although Wells is a fan of Chris, he did not hide the fact that he was interested in replacing him at one point.
But after the producers decided to go another direction, he was left feeling a little disappointed given that this could have given his career an almighty boost.
His following comments confirmed as much: “Did I want to have the best job in the world? Yes. I wanted that job.” Time will tell what Chris turns his attention to next.
