At AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming, Tay Conti challenged Penelope Ford to a Submission match on the show, which Ford accepted. Conti is more tuned for this type of match with her style, but Ford has the Muta Lock mastered – and it’s brought her a lot of success. This issue has been going on for months, with Ford often needing a knuckle duster to get the win – which won’t be an option tonight.

Tay Conti Chokes Out Penelope Ford

Conti started off fast with some pump kicks, before missing and being yanked to the floor by her hair. Ford would go for a single leg crab, but Conti turned things around. The Bunny would help Ford get the ropes, but Ford ended up in more trouble with the cross armbreaker attempt.

Ford would fight free and look for a handspring back elbow before taking double knees to the back. Conti looked for the Triangle Choke, before instead just attacking the arm. Anna Jay would ensure The Bunny didn’t get physical again, before Ford locked in a Dragon Sleeper before moving into a neck crank before adding in a backbreaker.

Conti would break free, and get the ropes when Ford applied the cravate, before applying a chokehold for the win. Bunny used brass knuckles, and Jay ran her off with a chair. Next week at Holiday Bash, we get the full details on The Owen – and Riho vs. Britt Baker was confirmed for Battle Of The Belts.

    Daniel Garcia Catches Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston is ready to end his issues with 2point0 and Daniel Garcia. He’s been outnumbered up to this point, but now he’s got a lot of backup. Santana & Ortiz are old pals from Impact Wrestling, and we all know Penta is his best friend – and with Penta comes Rey Fenix. 2point0 were able to get The Acclaimed to back them up, giving us a 10 man tag!

The Acclaimed would reference the murder of JFK & the CIA on their pre-match rap, before Team Kingston started a massive brawl. Bodies were everywhere, but Team 2point0 were not having a good time on the outside. Penta & Caster would start the match by getting in the ring, with Penta taunting before launching an overhand chop.

Fenix would tag in and nail some kicks alongside his brother before the Cazadora Splash for a two count. Santana & Ortiz were next and would beat down Bowens in the ring, with Santana getting all three amigos with the Eddie Guerrero tribute. Kingston hit a front suplex, and things broke down again as Garcia broke up a pin and folks broke off into separate brawls.

Matt Lee would get a blind tag and he’d get Santana outside and set up for the Drive-By from Garcia. Penta would get a tag and re-take control with some rapid and hard strikes. Fenix got the near fall after a huge dive, before Kingston would get Garcia in the ring. Once again, everything broke down before Garcia would roll Kingston up for a three count!

After the match, the brawl kept going, with Bowens smashing the Boombox off the face of Kingston. Jurassic Express would make the late save with Christian Cage, and the babyfaces stood tall. They would grab the AEW World Tag Team Championships, perhaps signalling what comes next.

Do we need another match between Garcia & Kingston? Will Jurassic Express finally claim AEW tag team gold? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
