Director Tyler Perry has reassured his fans that he is fine following a car accident which left his Bentley SUV badly damaged alongside the vehicle he collided into.
Director Tyler Perry Is ‘Absolutely Fine As Is The Other Driver’ Following His Car Crash
According to reports, the accident had occurred after Tyler had decided to leave the airport in Burbank, California. It is claimed that Tyler was attempting to drive home after which the accident interrupted his plans.
Naturally, the last thing that he expected to do was get involved in a car accident. Thankfully for everybody involved, neither Tyler nor the other driver was injured by the incident.
In addition, it is believed that neither party was taken to hospital which suggests that there were no significant injuries. A source said: “Tyler is absolutely fine, as is the other driver.
“The other driver cut across three lanes of traffic, right across Tyler’s path, and unfortunately his car hit her driver’s side.”
Nevertheless, that does not mean that there was not any significant damage. Far from it. Sadly, Tyler’s vehicle as well as the other driver’s car ended up taking the brunt of it all.
In the pictures here, we can see that both cars have significantly been damaged. Even though Tyler’s car is clearly the more expensive one, it has not left him short of money for the following reasons.
First of all, Tyler is known for his love of cars. After all, in 2018, he decided to give a Bentley to none other than Oprah Winfrey. As such, this accident was only going on to give him a reason for getting a new car.
Secondly, given that he is a billionaire, this is unlikely to put a dent in his pocket. In fact, it has only gone on to generate more publicity for him.
Unfortunately for Tyler, he will have to purchase a new car. But just like his movies have turned out to be, he has certainly created some headlines with this incident.
With that in mind, he will want to be more mindful over other road users in the future, as who knows on another day, he might not have been so lucky.
