Tom Holland and Zendaya were warned to not date each other because of their working relationship on the Spiderman movies.

Reports went on to indicate that producer Amy Pascal had advised the pair not to get romantically involved. That is no surprise given that had the relationship gone bad, then it could have jeopardised their on-screen performance.
After all, they were playing Mary Jane and Peter Parker. In an official statement, Amy said: “I took Tom and Zendaya aside, separately, when we first cast them and gave them a lecture. Don’t go there — just don’t. Try not to.”
But this is not the first time that such a thing has arisen. The same situation had occurred with the previous Spiderman Andrew Garfield and his relationship with Emma Stone.
They had been romantically involved. While this did come across well, as shown by their performance, the fact of the matter is that their relationship ended regardless of whether they have remained on good terms or not.
She added: “I gave the same advice to Andrew [Garfield] and Emma [Stone]. It can just complicate things, you know? And they all ignored me.”
Nevertheless, things look to be going well for the couple. Fans have resonated with their relationship, as shown by the fact that Tom has become the most popular Spiderman of all time.
That has not just been at the hands of the critics, nor the public, but rather Andrew Garfield has come out and said so himself. In a prior interview, he remarked: “I think that Tom Holland is just the perfect Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
“So I’m just super stoked. I get to just be a fan again, which is my preferred position, to be able to sit in the audience.”
Without doubt, the primary reason why Tom has been able to have such success is the fact that he has great chemistry with Zendaya both on-screen and off-screen.
And if things continue to go on in this light, it is very hard to see somebody else stepping into the shoes of Tom after everything that he has accomplished. Hopefully, Tom and Zendaya will last the course.
