James Franco’s life has not been getting any easier, even in the aftermath of settling his 2018 sexual misconduct allegations.
James Franco Is Reportedly Going To Testify In Johnny Depp And Amber Heard’s Legal Case
James, for his part, had been accused by numerous women of misconduct during his acting classes. The result of which was that the actor ended up settling outside of court for over 2 million dollars.
He then went on to acknowledge that he did sleep with his students, which was remiss on his part. Although fans thought that this would be the end of the matter, it looks as though James may have to testify in the legal case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
According to reports, Johnny is attempting to sue Amber for defamation in a lawsuit that is worth around $50 million. This was in response to Amber, who has maintained that she had been a victim of domestic violence.
And given that James is a close friend of Amber, coupled with the fact that there were rumours that Amber had been seeing James, the courts would be very much interested to hear whether he knew about the circumstances of the apparent bruises that had happened on Amber’s face.
This is even more so given alleged footage which had shown James in an elevator with Amber around 24-hours after she and Johnny had a massive altercation.
That is when Amber reportedly stated that Johnny had given her a black eye. In an official statement at the time, Johnny had stated the following: “I have denied Ms. Heard’s allegations vehemently.
“She walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week.”
In light of what Johnny has said, if these bruises were fabricated, then James may have something to declare given that he was with Amber as shown by the surveillance footage.
And if it is proven that these bruises were not real, coupled with the fact that James had knowledge of this, then he may find himself getting embroiled in another legal matter that he would rather do without. Time will tell.
