Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Is Only A Hundred Days Away
Prince Harry, who now lives in America with wife, Meghan Markle and their two kids, Archie and Lilibet, founded the Invictus Games in 2014. It is an international adaptive multi-sport event that allows the wounded, injured or sick armed services personnel and veterans to partake.
The competition celebrates the role and power of sport when it comes to recovery and how it can both physically and psychologically help people suffering from injuries or illness. The first ever event took place in London and it has taken place in Orlando in 2016, Toronto in 2017 and Sydney in 2018.
It was supposed to take place in The Hague in May of last year, but it was postponed twice because of the COVID-19 outbreak. In January 2020, Prince Harry also announced that the famous competition will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany in 2023.
