Prince Andrew was reportedly told that he had to clean up his private life prior to the current Virginia Giuffre sexual assault allegations that he is facing.
Prince Andrew Was Warned About His Behaviour Prior To His Sexual Case
Virginia Giuffre has alleged that Prince Andrew was responsible for sexually assaulting her, as part of the wider Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
While Andrew has denied the allegations from the outset, the evidence that is currently in the public domain including a picture of Virginia and Andrew being together, demonstrates the possibility that Andrew could have something to answer for.
But in reality, prior to this all emerging, Andrew was known for his partying lifestyle which ultimately cast a negative light on his reputation.
This comes on the back end of reports that Andrew was pictured with some topless women while he was on vacation in Phuket, Thailand.
It is claimed that this was part of a group of friends that Andrew had that were nicknamed ‘NyLon Gang,’ which included none other than Ghislaine Maxwell.
A source had told the ‘Sunday People’ the following: “Andrew has been told in no uncertain terms that he must cut loose from this gang with all their drug links before it drags the reputation of the Royals into the mire.”
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and if Prince Andrew had managed to listen to the advice that he was being given, then he could have been able to avoid getting himself involved in the controversy that has resulted in him facing potentially serious consequences.
It is no surprise also that his marriage to his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson ultimately broke down, given the fact that this type of behavior is not exactly one that is befitting of a husband.
But on a much more serious note, the following comments suggest that Andrew was warned about getting himself involved in scandals.
The source added: “His behavior is not that expected of the Duke of York and he has been told it must end right now. Andrew is laying himself open to exploitation and scandal and is becoming an appalling liability.
